Roll-formed aluminum with an insulating core, or extruded aluminum, depending on the VRM Industries slat chosen. The material doesn't rust, resists impacts and weather and keeps its looks over time. Its rigidity keeps the shutter stable, even on wide openings exposed to wind.
Roll boxDiscreet integration
The aluminum box protects the slats and the mechanism from dust, rain and cold. Compact, it blends into the façade and stays accessible for maintenance. Square, 45° or low-angle box depending on the installation.
Guide systemSmooth, quiet operation
The side rails guide the curtain and keep it from leaving its tracks, even in high winds. Their brush seals reduce friction noise and improve air and dust sealing. End retention, available on most slats, holds the curtain even more firmly.

Do your roller shutters hold up to wind and weather?
Yes. VRM Industries slats are designed for our climate, and the guide rails with end retention hold the curtain firmly in place, even in strong winds. Tested up to 120 km/h.
What is the average lifespan of roller shutters?
With normal use and minimal maintenance, their lifespan often exceeds 20 years.
Can I choose the colour of my shutters?
Yes. Several colours are offered depending on the slat, and colour matching is possible on request. On-screen colours are approximate: we show you a sample before ordering.
Can roller shutters be installed on a patio door or a bay window?
Yes. We install shutters sized for all types of openings, small or large. For very wide openings, the Titan or Atlas slat is made for that.
Do roller shutters reduce my energy bill?
Insulated slats (Thermo, Titan) reduce heat loss in winter on the windows concerned and limit overheating in summer by blocking direct sunlight.
Which slat should I choose?
Thermo for insulated comfort, Fortis for the security of standard openings, Atlas for wide commercial openings, Titan for doors and garages, Bastion X for an extruded aluminum barrier, Lumen for a storefront that stays visible. We advise you at the measuring visit.
