Privacy policy
1. Our approach
We believe a privacy policy should be understandable by real people. When you visit our site, our goal is simple: help you find the information you need, answer your questions and support you in your project. We collect only the information needed for what we do. We do not sell your information. We do not use your visit to track you unnecessarily.
2. The information we collect
A. Information you provide directly
When you fill out a quote request, contact us or exchange with us, we may collect: first and last name, email address, phone number, postal code, information related to your project and photos you choose to send for the project assessment. They are used to respond to your request, prepare an estimate, follow up on your project and better understand the technical constraints of the installation.
B. Technical data related to the use of the site
We may collect certain technical information, such as pages viewed, device type, approximate region and general interactions with the site, to improve the site, understand its use and fix technical problems. This data is used in aggregate and does not directly identify you.
C. Data stored temporarily in your browser
When you start a quote request, some form information may be stored in your browser to avoid data loss and let you resume later. This information stays on your device and is sent to us only when you voluntarily submit the form. If you use a shared or public device, we recommend not keeping a draft there.
3. Cookies and local storage
We use a simple, minimal approach.
A. Necessary (always active)
Some elements are essential to the operation of the site: security, performance, technical form handling, basic features. They do not require consent.
B. Statistics (with consent)
With your consent, we may use audience measurement tools to understand how the site is used and improve the content. These tools are activated only after your consent when required.
C. No aggressive advertising tracking
We do not use technologies intended to track you intrusively across different sites for advertising profiling.
4. Communications
A. Communications related to your request
When you send us a request, we must be able to contact you to respond, provide an estimate, follow up on your project, confirm certain elements and send documents such as a quote, an invoice or technical details. These communications may be by phone, email or text message (SMS). They relate to the service requested and are not marketing communications.
B. Your communication preferences
When you submit your request, you can indicate your preferences, including follow-up by SMS or email. They are passed to the tools we use to manage requests and follow-ups. They can be adjusted case by case according to the real context of your file: phone-only communications, paper documents, no electronic communications other than those strictly necessary.
C. Validation and secure access to your request
Secure access to a quote or a customer file may require the use of a mobile phone number for validation, to prevent a third party from viewing your request without authorization.
D. Marketing communications
If you agree to receive communications by email, we may also send you promotions, news and informational content related to our activities. These communications are optional and do not affect the handling of your request. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
E. Unsubscribing
You can withdraw your consent to marketing communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the emails concerned, or by contacting us directly. We then update our systems within a reasonable time.
5. Photos and documents sent for assessment
The photos, documents and technical information you send us are used only to understand your project, assess feasibility, prepare an estimate and follow up on the file. Some access links or preparation data may be temporary; if a request is not completed, some files may expire and need to be sent again.
6. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share some of it only when necessary: with technical providers that help us run the site or process requests, with the tools we use to manage quotes, follow-ups and communications, when required to provide the requested service, or when the law requires it. We limit the information shared to what is necessary.
7. Retention of information
We keep information as long as necessary to process your request, follow up on your project, keep documents useful to the business relationship, meet our legal, tax, accounting or administrative obligations, and resolve disputes when necessary.
8. Security
We put reasonable measures in place to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. No method of transmission or storage offers absolute security.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable laws, you may request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, withdrawal of certain consents, deletion of certain information where permitted, and details on how we use your information. To exercise a right or ask a question, contact us.
